On 27th October 2016, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) S.P Kochhar, CEO of Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) delivered a lecture on 'Strategic Management' at IIM Sirmaur. Lt. Gen. Kochhar drew parallel between the administration styles, values and practices in the Army and the management of a corporate entity. He threw light upon the role being played by TSSC in narrowing the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills by increased collaboration between the primary stakeholders i.e. HR, Industry and academia, and focused on its commitment to develop world-class skilled manpower for the Telecom industry.
