Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS) 2025-29
This document details the process that will be adopted for selecting candidates for Admission to the Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS) at the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIMS) for the academic year 2025-29. IIM Sirmaur considers the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) from the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) as an evaluation criterion for admitting students to its BMS programs. IIMS adopts a three-phase selection process:
Phase 1:
Based on the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) from IPMAT, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
Phase 2:
Shortlisted candidates from Phase 1 will be called for the interview process.
Phase 3:
The composite score will be calculated as follows:

Points to Note:
- Offers of Admission under any category/quota shall be strictly in order of merit in accordance with the selection parameters and composite score obtained by a candidate. Candidates accepting the offer will be charged an Acceptance Fee (Admission Fee) to reserve their seats along with the tuition fee, hostel charges, alumni fee, mediclaim fee, and refundable caution money as per the amounts and timelines shared in the offer letter.
- The age limit for candidates is a maximum of 20 years as of August 1, 2025 (born on or after August 01, 2005), with a five-year age relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates (born on or after August 01, 2001).
- The Institute reserves the right to change/modify the admission process/criteria. Prospective candidates are advised to monitor the IIM Sirmaur website for the latest updates.
- Any misrepresentation or suppression of information by a candidate at any stage during the admissions process or at any later date will lead to immediate disqualification from the programme. The onus of responsibility for misrepresentation lies with the candidate.
- Reservations are applicable as per Government of India requirements: 27% for Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC), 15% for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST), up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).
- Admission will be confirmed only upon submission of marksheets and certificates of having passed the required exams. The deadline for submission of pending marksheets and the provisional degree certificate is October 30, 2025. Non-fulfillment of eligibility conditions will result in the cancellation of provisional admission.
- For reservation purposes, the applicable Central Government list as of the last date of application registration shall apply. Candidates must submit valid documents signed by competent authorities to verify their eligibility.
- Canvassing or misbehaving with staff or faculty shall lead to disqualification. If detected post-appointment, the admission will be terminated.

Note: Any dispute concerning admissions to IIM Sirmaur will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh only.
