PGPEX LSM 2026-27
The Post Graduate Programme for Executives on Leadership in Smart Manufacturing (PGPEX-LSM) is a collaborative effort between IIM Sirmaur and RWTH Aachen. This program aims to develop management leaders with expertise in smart manufacturing, combining the managerial strengths of IIM Sirmaur and the technological prowess of RWTH Aachen
Phase 1: Shortlist for Personal Interview (PI)
Application criteria:
- Bachelors in (B. Tech./BE/B. Sc./allied fields) with 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA awarded by any of the recognized universities/IITs At least 3 years of manufacturing-related experience in manufacturing or allied areas, e.g., Shop Floor/IT/Teaching/Entrepreneur/etc. (After completion of graduation).
- At least 3 years of shop floor experience in manufacturing or allied areas (After completion of graduation)
- Valid GMAT/GRE/CAT Score (Taken within last five years)/IIM Sirmaur’s LSMAT Score

Points to note:
- Offers of Admission under any category/quota shall be strictly in order of merit in accordance with the selection parameters and composite score obtained by a candidate. Candidates accepting the offer, will be charged Acceptance fee (Admission Fee) to reserve their seats along with the tuition fee, hostel charges, alumni fee, mediclaim fee, refundable caution money to be charged as per the amount and timelines shared in offer letter.
- The admission committee of IIM Sirmaur holds the discretion to change any part of the admission policy at any point in time during the admission process.
- The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by their respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution.
- Such candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying Programmes, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a course completion certificate latest on or before registration from the Principal/ Head of the Department / Registrar or Director of the University / Institute stating that they have appeared for the examinations (including practical examinations) in all the subjects required for obtaining the Master's / Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification.
- Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the experience certificates, marks sheet and the certificate of having passed the Master's / Bachelor's the degree/equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate issued by Principal / Registrar of their college / Institute. The deadline for submission of any pending marks sheet and the provisional degree certificate is October 30, 2026. All the marksheets and related documents shall be verified in original. Non-fulfillment of the conditions of eligibility for the minimum percentage of marks obtained as applicable will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
- Reservations are applicable per Government of India requirement: 27% of the seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “Non-Creamy” layer (NC-OBC), 15% for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) and 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).
- For the purpose of being considered for reservations, the applicable Central Government list as on the last date of application registration shall be binding and the candidates are required to submit the valid documents signed by the competent authority to ascertain the eligibility status to apply under the reserved category (NC-OBC/SC/ST/EWSs/ PwD). The certificate of the claimed reserved category should be valid on the date of registration at the campus.
- Canvassing on the part of the applicants or misbehaving with the staff or faculty of the institute in any manner shall lead to his / her disqualification. In case, it is detected at any point of time in future, even after appointment, that the candidate was not eligible, appointment of the candidate shall be liable to termination.
- Any misrepresentation or suppression of information by a candidate at any stage during the admissions process or at any later date, will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidate from the programme of IIM Sirmaur and the onus of the responsibility and its consequences of misrepresentation or suppression of information lies on the candidate.

- Any dispute concerning admissions to IIM Sirmaur would be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh only.
