During my internship at the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), I worked in the Global Strategy department, where my role involved devising plans to attract more tourists from different countries. My experience was fantastic. Mauritius is not only stunningly beautiful but also has a wonderful work environment. The people are incredibly helpful, and I learned a lot during my time there. I believe there are plenty of opportunities for growth, making it a great option for students seeking to network and carve a career outside India.

I am Manish Sharma from the MBA Tourism batch of 2023-2025. I had the opportunity to do my summer internship at the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. Today, as I look back, I realize that Mauritius has so many opportunities to offer to students like us. The people are so welcoming, and we feel so at home. Working as a marketing trainee during this international internship gave me invaluable skills and immersed me in a vibrant culture. It was a fantastic opportunity for growth and learning. I would encourage students not to miss the opportunity to go to Mauritius, learn from a different cultural environment, and gain the international exposure that we do not have while being in India.
