Environmental Management

Saving our planet, lifting people out of poverty, advancing economic growth… these are one and the same fight. We must connect the dots between climate change, water scarcity, energy shortages, global health, food security, and women’s empowerment. Solutions to one problem must be solutions for all. – Ban Ki-moon

A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people. ― Franklin D. Roosevelt

Adapting to climate-friendly practices is essential for industries to survive and thrive in the long run. In addition, it contributes to building a positive reputation in society. With environmental degradation and the looming threat of climate change, businesses are facing increasing pressure to provide accurate information about their social and ecological impacts. Starting in 2022, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has mandated the top 1000 listed firms to follow Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) guidelines, requiring them to disclose economic, social, and environmental consequences. To meet the requirements of Sustainable Development Goals and to achieve net-zero targets, transitioning to green technologies is critical.
