Women Health and Hygiene Camp
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) IIM Sirmaur is going to conduct a day-long programme, “Women Health and Hygiene Camp” in the UBA adopted village Kunja Matralion (Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh) on 10th November 2021. It has been found that there is a lack of awareness about adolescence among school going girls and dearth of sentience among ladies especially the old women about sanitation, use of sanitary napkins and disposal of menstrual waste. Through this camp, UBA team at IIM Sirmaur would like to make an effort to create awareness among female villagers of Kunja Matralion and sensitize them about adolescence, sanitation, use of sanitary napkins and disposal of menstrual waste and other related matters. The camp will be conducted at Kunja Rajkiya Paathshala.
