IM Sirmaur successfully completed the three-week long Management Development Programme (MDP) for the officials of SJVN Ltd

IIM Sirmaur successfully organized the three-week long Management Development Programme (MDP) for the officials of SJVN Ltd a Mini Ratna company on the theme of “Creating Value for Business”. The programme had multiple modules ranging from Finance & Accounting, Business Law Strategic Management, Project Management, Organizational & Behaviour, Leadership and Team Management. Professor Neelu Rohmetra, Director IIM Sirmaur was the Chief Guest for the valedictory of the programme. She addressed the MDP participants by sharing her thoughts about the IIM Sirmaur’s value system and how its core values has helped the institute to grow organically. She highlighted the role of MDPs and trainings in the grooming of individuals not only through class learnings but also from participant’s informal interactions with experts, participants and other stakeholders who actually involve in the delivery of such MDPs/trainings. She emphasized that such interactions help in grooming the participants in making better team players. She highlighted that IIM Sirmaur is well equipped with infrastructure and academic resources to host companies for their training and MDP requirements.
Prof. Vikas Kumar, Chairperson MDP presented the formal vote of thanks. He mentioned the support and motivation provided by Director, IIM Sirmaur in conducting this MDP. He thanked the Management of SJVN Ltd. and all the officials who attended the programme and provided their full cooperation. He also thanked all the experts who took the different modules of the programme along with the staff of the institute who provided continuous support to run this programme smoothly.
