Blood Donation Camp
Paonta Sahib, December 7, 2018 Sankalp, The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of IIM Sirmaur, in collaboration with IMA Dehradun, organized a blood donation drive on December 7th, 2018 at IIM Sirmaur campus. The camp spanned over 6 hours starting from 10 AM.
The noble initiative was organized in collaboration with IMA Dehradun. What stood out about the drive was the degree of rigour exhibited by the student volunteers of IIM Sirmaur and medical professionals of IMA Dehradun that engendered a seamless and efficient organization of the whole event.
A total of 90 units of blood were donated by the students and staff of IIM Sirmaur. Students from the nearby engineering college and dental college also contributed in the noble cause. The students also shared their experiences and encouraged fellow students to participate in the camp. The donors were presented with a certificate as a token of appreciation.
The camp received a higher response than previous year and concluded at 4:00 pm.
