IIM Sirmaur kick starts "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" activities
A special evening programme was organized at IIM Sirmaur to kick-start its latest club-EBSB (Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat), celebrating the spirit of Unity in diversity, under the guidance of Director IIM Sirmaur Professor Neelu Rohmetra, and faculty members Prof. Anshu Agrawal, Prof. Amrinder Singh and Prof. M. Pachayappan. The club is established to promote and engage with rich cultural diversity of India and creating a sense of inclusiveness among IIM Sirmaur fraternity.
IIM Sirmaur fraternity itself belongs to a myriad variety of cultural traditions. EBSB started its noteworthy journey with screening of two documentaries narrating the history of India's rich inheritance and ethos, natural bliss, harmony and peaceful coexistence. The documentaries featured the tourism and cultural heritage of States of Himachal Pradesh and Kerala. The bonfire studded night with special dinner menu (Dosa) from the South Indian cuisine and music attracted enthusiastic participation from IIM Sirmaur community.
