The Centre for Sustainability and Environmental Management will conduct an online one-day national seminar titled ‘Restore Our Earth’ to commemorate Earth Day on 22nd April 2022 (11 am to 4 pm, lunch break 1-2.30 pm). The Earth Day is an international event celebrated around the world to pledge support for environmental protection. The year 2022 marks the 52nd anniversary of the annual celebrations. This year’s theme for Earth Day is ‘Invest in Our Planet’. Smart companies are discovering that it is no longer a choice between going green and growing long-term profits — sustainability is the path to prosperity. So for both humanitarian and business reasons, it is imperative that companies of all sizes take action and embrace the benefits of a green circular economy. The online seminar will help convene experts from different disciplines to raise awareness amongst participants regarding action on climate change, renewable energy, natural resources management, environmental protection, etc. A healthy planet is not an option — it is a necessity.
