IndiaProf. Pachayappan, faculty at IIM Sirmaur, represented India at the 5th ISO/TC 315 – Cold Chain Logistics – plenary meeting, held in Singapore from October 14th to 18th, 2024. The meeting, attended by international experts, aimed to discuss and develop global standards for cold chain logistics.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) established a committee under the Transport & Logistics Sector to collaborate with ISO/TC 315, reflecting India's commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of temperature-controlled goods. As a member of the committee, Prof. Pachayappan played a key role in representing India's interests and fostering global cooperation in this critical field.

2. Dr. Mohammed Nawazish’s (faculty in the Area of Operations and Supply Chain Management) paper titled “Optimal investment in artificial intelligence-driven production activities considering socio-economic concerns” has been published in the in International Journal of Production Research (ABDC: A and ABS: 3).

3. Dr. P. Sanjay, Faculty, Finance at IIM Sirmaur, delivered the keynote address at the Global CSR Leadership Conclave, organized by the International Institute of Human Resources (IIHR) with the support of "Make In India." The conclave aimed to foster discussions on the role of corporate leaders in achieving India's vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.

In his address, Dr. P. Sanjay highlighted the crucial role of CSR in driving economic growth and social development in India. He highlighted the need for corporate leaders to adopt innovative approaches and leverage technology to create a positive impact on society.

In recognition of his contributions towards advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047, Dr. Sanjay received the "Outstanding Leadership Award".
