Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur held the second edition of its Alumni Chapter Meet in Gurgaon bringing together alumni from eight batches in Gurugram.
The gathering began with a warm welcome from Prof. Vikas Kumar, Chairperson of the Alumni Relations Cell, who emphasised the vital role the alumni play in the progress of the institution. He also highlighted the importance of fostering strong ties and maintaining a shared vision for continued growth.
The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Prafulla Agnihotri, Director of IIM Sirmaur. He highlighted the institute’s developments, including the inauguration of the new permanent campus at Dhaula Kuan, Sirmaur. He also shared updates about the introduction of new academic programs, advanced management development programmes and various initiatives for the welfare of IIM Sirmaur fraternity. He also discussed the institute’s plans to enhance global collaborations with reputed business schools. During his address, Prof. Agnihotri announced plans for the formation of the IIM Sirmaur Alumni Association, aimed at strengthening the connection between the institute and its alumni while encouraging active involvement in institutional initiatives.
