Inviting Applications for Adjunct Faculty (Academic and Research Advisors)

Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIMS) is amongst the newer Indian Institutes of Management set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in the year 2015. The Institute is currently operating from its well-equipped, temporary campus located in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.

The Institute invites Applications (on purely temporary/ part-time basis) from accomplished Indian and Foreign Nationals for engagement as Adjunct Faculty (Academic and Research Advisors). Reputed academicians, scholars and other professionals, both serving and retired can send their expression of interest.

Currently, we are looking for accomplished academicians and scholars with research and teaching acumen. These shall be primarily expected to drive research initiatives at the Institute. They would be responsible for curriculum development and steer the research initiatives at institute. These faculty would also perform advisory roles in the Institute to promote academic interests. Interested candidates with 15 years of teaching and research experience are welcome to apply.

Senior colleagues with experience of having served in IIMs and reputed Management Institutions are welcome to engage in the mentoring roles with faculty, students and the staff.

The emoluments will be as per Institute’s norms, commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. The number of faculty to be appointed may vary depending upon the requirement. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.

Note: If sufficient number of applications are received by August 31, 2019, these will be processed in the first phase. Applications received after August 31, 2019, shall be processed in next phases, as deemed appropriate by Institute on the basis of periodic requirement.
