IIM Sirmaur is pleased to host Prof. Vipin Gupta, Professor and Co-Director of Center for Global Management, California State University to deliver a session on the topic White Ocean Strategy: A dynamic approach to organisational planning.
He started the session by asking everyone to have an open mind and apply new knowledge so as to achieve illumination. He stated that it is important to start at zero state in order to open up to all the opportunities in the ecosystem for organisational planning.
He emphasized that unless one develops their own confidence, articulation, communication prowess and scientific demonstration of points, it becomes very difficult to convince others.
He listed out two management techniques for destroying the threat to value accrual power. He talked in detail on the different forms of energy and their respective values. Be interested in ones own happiness he quoted, explaining how no one has infinite energy but only illumination to give to everyone. He finished off by talking in detail about a dynamic approach to organisational planning for growing energy value to the organisation. The session concluded with the honorary felicitation of the guest.
