Ashish holds master’s and Ph.D. from IIT Madras. Prior to Ph.D. he earned managerial experience of over seven years at one of India’s largest engineering and construction firms. His doctoral research explored stakeholder strategies adopted by project-oriented organizations for socially sustainable infrastructure development. His research work has been published in reputed journals including Journal of Cleaner Production, Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, Smart and Sustainable Built Environment, and IIM Kozhikode Society and Management Review. He has conducted MDPs for multiple government and private organizations from infrastructure and other related sectors. Before moving to IIM Sirmaur, Ashish worked as faculty at National Institute of Construction Management and Research (now NICMAR University) Pune.
Teaching interests: Strategic analysis and Formulation, Strategy Implementation, Business Strategy, Stakeholder Strategies for Responsible Business, and Public Private Partnerships.
Research interests: Sustainability as strategy, Stakeholder strategy, Technology and strategy, Sustainable infrastructure, and Infrastructure management.
