As part of ongoing Quami Ekta Week activities, members of the IIM Sirmaur community got together on 25th November 2017, Saturday afternoon to plant saplings around the campus. Qaumi Ekta Week concludes today, November 25, with nationwide events around the theme of environmental conservation. While cultural and national integration is an important goal for a country as diverse as ours, preserving our natural resources is also essential. The plantation drive on campus helped students, staff and faculty form a deeper connection with the natural world through the act of planting various kinds of saplings with their own hands. Prof. (Dr.) Neelu Rohmetra, Director IIM Sirmaur led by example when she planted a sapling herself.
