Earlier, Ms. Paulomi Mukherjee began her talk on the topic Health and Happiness with full zeal and energy. She discussed the different levels of existence, i.e, human body, breath, mind, emotion, intellect, ego, and the source of life (meditation). She also talked about the importance of following a healthy and balanced diet. Further, she discussed that with meditation, our physiology undergoes a change, and every cell in the body gets filled with "prana". A few major takeaways from her insightful speech and exercise were that we all should have a sound sleep, do good breathing exercises, eat good food and try to stay happy, relaxed, and calm. Our minds should be calm and stress-free. She also demonstrated a few stretching exercises that would help in energizing the body, more specifically she demonstrated some easy yet powerful exercises to relax eyes, ears, eyebrows, cheeks, shoulders, and hands. The FDP which concluded with this fruitful session was coordinated by Dr. Devika Vashisht, Assistant Professor, IIM Sirmaur. Towards the end, the participants of the program shared their feedback. The event came to an end with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Devika Vashisht.
