Biography

Dr Vandana is working as an Assistant Professor in the area of Decision Sciences at the Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur. Prior to this, she has served as an Assistant Professor in the Humanities and Science department at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad.  She worked as an Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. She has also worked as a Visiting Scientist in SQC OR Unit, Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata, West Bengal.

Dr Vandana completed her PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Her research interest includes Game-theoretic approaches in the supply chain, Supply chain management, Inventory control, Mathematical modelling, Credit policy, Credit Risk, etc. She has published her research papers in SCI/SCIE, Scopus, ESCI/Web of Science, and ABDC listed Journals. She is serving as a reviewer in peer-reviewed journals like ABDC, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, etc.


She holds a meritorious award/Gold Medal for securing the first rank in MSc Mathematics among all colleges affiliated to the PRSU Raipur. She has participated as resource person at various professional development seminars, conferences, workshops, FDP to remain abreast of new technologies, innovative delivery methods, and statistical techniques and tools.
