Abhitesh received Ph.D. degree from University of Minnesota, MS in Quantitative Economics from ISI Delhi, and Int. M.Sc. in Physics from IIT Roorkee. His expertise lies in International Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Public Economics. As a researcher, he is working on models of forex reserve policy, and monetary policy with endogenously sticky prices. Before joining IIM Sirmaur, Abhitesh has worked at Ahmedabad University where he has taught Macroeconomics at undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, he has also supervised undergraduate thesis examining the heterogeneous effect of an increase in indirect tax on taxpayers and non taxpayers in a dynamic setup.
