Biography

Dr. Mohammed Nawazish earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode in the Department of Quantitative Methods and Operations Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD). Prior to joining IIM Sirmaur, he served as a Lecturer in the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department at the Institute of Management Technology Dubai.

Dr. Nawazish's research interests include Humanitarian Logistics, Disaster Response Operations, and Not-for-Profit Operations. He applies advanced quantitative techniques, such as robust optimization, non-linear optimization, and stratified multi-criteria decision-making, to address complex practical issues. His work has been published in respected journals, including the International Journal of Production Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Benchmarking: An International Journal. Additionally, he has presented his research at notable conferences such as the Production and Operations Management International Conference and the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) India Chapter.
