Satender Pal Singh has joined Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur as an Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management Area on 4th May 2026. He has earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. Prior to joining IIM Sirmaur, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Operations and Decision Science Area at TAPMI, Manipal. Dr. Singh has published his research work in international journals, including Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Environment Management, Quality and Quantity, The TQM Journal, Journal of Multi‐Criteria Decision Analysis, etc. He has presented his works at various national and international conferences and made a conference publication in IEEE Xplore. He has also won the best paper award in the Management Doctoral Colloquium organized by the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam. He has six years of industry experience in Samsung Heavy Industries India Private Limited, Noida. He holds an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Teaching Interests: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operation Research, Project Management.

Research Interests: Supply Chain Management, Behavioral Operations, Application of Game Theory.
