Prof. Pachayappan participated in the fifth plenary meeting of ISO/TC 315 – Cold Chain Logistics as part of the Indian delegation, held from 14th to in Singapore. This event gathered international experts to discuss and develop standards for managing temperature-sensitive goods within global supply chains.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has established a committee under the Transport & Logistics Sector to collaborate with ISO/TC 315, demonstrating India's commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of temperature-controlled goods. As a member of this committee, I was responsible for representing and communicating the interests of India in international standardization efforts, fostering global cooperation in this critical field.
