REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS AT IIM SIRMAUR
The 70th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Professor Neelu Rohmetra, Hon'ble Director IIM Sirmaur, received the guard of honour and unfurled the National Flag
In her address, Prof. Neelu Rohmetra impressed upon the element of being dutiful, and committed to the responsibilities as free citizens of the country. She talked about how these celebrations are a reminder of our duties towards the country. She emphasized on the role of positivity in accomplishment of goals and dreams at individual and institutional levels.
Later, the students presented a cultural programme on the theme of patriotism. The function was attended by the staff, faculty and the students. The day also saw the students of IIm Sirmaur sharing the happiness of the occasion with underprivileged children in near vicinity.
