Academic Qualification: MA- Economics(Delhi University) & Ph.D (National University of Singapore)
Dr. Alka Chadha completed her doctorate in Economics from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and B.A. (Hons) Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. Before becoming a part of the IIM Sirmaur family, she was working as an Adjunct faculty at IIM Sambalpur and full-time faculty at IIM Trichy. She also has international work experience of working at the NUS Business School, National University of Singapore and S.P Jain Centre of Global Management, Singapore Campus.
Her teaching interests include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Game Theory, She is the author of the book “Game Theory for Managers: Doing Business in a Strategic World”. Her research areas include Innovation, Internationalization, Servicification and FDI. She has published her work in international refereed journals including World Development, Industrial and Corporate Change, Economic Modelling, Scientometrics and Applied Economics.
