National Tourism Day

On the occasion of Indian National Tourism Day, Atithya - the Tourism and Hospitality Club of Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur presents you the inaugural annual Tourism and Hospitality conclave – Paryatan.

This conclave is aimed at connecting with industry stalwarts to promote innovation and skill development and inculcate students with pragmatic knowledge to help fit into the workforce of this ever-changing tourism sector. The interactions between the students and the industry experts are intended to promote innovation, skill development, and training students to fit into the workforce.

The learnings from the discussions would instill confidence in both, students and other attendees, to pursue different domains of tourism and hospitality management.

As a part of the Conclave, there will be interactive Panel Discussions that highlight how to become capable to make smart and effective decisions in a rapidly changing world and rebuild the tourism and hospitality industry post-pandemic. It also comprises national-level competitions where you can showcase your knowledge and win exciting prizes.

With the global outbreak of COVID-19 affecting businesses, especially those of the travel and hospitality industry, the post-COVID-19 world will see a paradigm shift in consumer behaviour. There is a growing need for businesses to be more agile and adaptive due to the disruption of operations.

The Chameleon Era refers to the post-pandemic era, which currently requires substantial adaptability and agility, especially in the case of the Tourism and Hospitality industry, which is one of the most badly affected industries. This conclave will bring together rising and established leaders from the fields of tourism and hospitality industry to consider the possibilities for the future.
