IIM Sirmaur conducted Heartfulness Enabled Leadership Mastery Programme for the Students (14-15 October, 2023)
 

Two days Heartfulness Enabled Leadership Mastery (HELM) Program was held at Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur for the students of MBA 2023-24 batch. In the programme; Mr. Sanjay Upreti (IRAS & Joint Secretary), Mr. C S Patil (Senior Manager, NTPC), and Mr. Amarjeet Singh (Assistant Professor, HPU) inspired the students to undertake leadership and entrepreneurship journey through the development of right set of values, strengths and skills that encompass living a contemplative lifestyle for 360 degree success and well-being in their lives.

The programme convener Dr. Atul Agrawal (Administrative Officer, IIM Sirmaur) told that programme enabled the students to make them realise the importance of contemplative practices enabled by heartfulness in their overall success in life. Participants were motivated to integrate heartfulness practices in their lives and were sensitised towards making connection with their hearts for seeking guidance through heart-centric living, having the right set of values, taking right choices in the context of 21st century while understanding the causalities of world, community engagement, discovering individual & larger purpose and sustainable development goals that are naturally achieved through regular practice of heartfulness meditation. The programme further emphasised on adopting a growth and entrepreneurial mindset coupled with soft skill development as the 21st Century is all about the development of skills of heart that will give a competitive edge in the world of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA)
