Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIMS) is amongst the newer IIMs set up by the Ministry of Education in 2015. As a premier institution of National Importance, it aims to provide Management education of high quality and promotes allied areas of knowledge and inter-disciplinary studies. The Institute is currently operating from its well-equipped, temporary campus located in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. The permanent campus of the Institute is coming up in Dhaula Kuan (Himachal Pradesh) amidst serene, lush green surroundings and includes faculty residences, staff residences, class room complex, administrative complex, MDP centre, guest house, health centre etc.

The institute invites Applications (on purely temporary/part-time basis) from accomplished Indian and Foreign Nationals for Adjunct Faculty in various areas of specialization. Reputed academicians, scholars, industry practitioners, and other professionals, both serving and retired can send their expression of interest.

Those who are currently in service with CFTIs /Central & State Universities/ Autonomous Academic Institutes shall be required to route their applications through proper channel. Currently, we are looking for accomplished professionals in the areas of Finance & Accounting, Economics and Business Environment, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Decision Sciences, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Information Technology and Systems, Business Communication, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management and Tourism & Hospitality Management. In addition, the Institute will be pleased to receive applications in other areas like Art and Cultural Management, Digital technology, Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Incubation etc.
 
The key responsibilities would be to develop and teach curriculum in the respective areas of expertise besides steering research projects, community engagement, incubation etc. Senior colleagues with experience of having served in CFTIs are welcome to engage in the mentoring roles with faculty, students and the staff. Such faculty on adjunct roles shall be expected to participate and engage in Institution building activities as assigned by competent authority from time to time. Adjunct faculty members are also expected to add value and expertise to complement the existing knowledge pool of the Institute.
 
The candidates should have at least 15 years of relevant teaching and research experience. Initially the engagement will be for a period of 1 year, extendable on year to year basis for a maximum of upto 3 years. The emoluments will be as per Institute’s norms as shall be applicable for serving / retired persons respectively.
 
The number of candidates to be appointed may vary depending upon the requirement. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
