Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) observed Swachch Bharat Abhiyan from 15th September to 30th September, 2017. During this period IIM Sirmaur campus was vibrant with various activities and events related to cleanliness.
Faculty along with the support staff took active part in the initiative. Equipped with brooms, faculty and management staff members cleaned the campus, swept the littered streets and inspired onlookers to join their efforts. They went to nearby villages and interacted closely with residents while undertaking the cleanliness drive. Faculty and staff members sensitised villagers on various benefits of cleanliness and safety measures to be ensured while cleaning their residences and nearby surroundings.
