Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Director IIM Sirmaur received the 'First Ladies Award' on January 20th, 2018. The felicitation event was held at Rashtrapati Bhawan, wherein she joined over interaction with 100 other exceptional women achievers in the Country in varied areas.
Guest lecture (centred on Future of Banking) at IIM Sirmaur
In his first guest lecture (centred on Future of Banking) at IIM Sirmaur, Mr. Rajiv Vaid shed light on how the advent of new banking technologies such as Block Chain is gradually eliminating the need for banks altogether. He also touched upon the emerging trends and key focus areas in banking, both from the perspective of consumers as well as banks.
Guest Lecture (Transformation To New Leadership Roles)
In the third guest lecture of the Colloquium series centered on the theme “Transformation to new leadership roles”, Mr. Krishnan Venkiteswaran, Head HR, Control Print Limited, shed light on various leadership styles and the relevance of each in today’s day and age.
IIM Sirmaur hosted Mr. Santosh Wakhloo, Vice President, JK Paper Ltd., who delivered a guest lecture on ‘Leadership’ to the students of PGP04 batch. Mr. Wakhloo talked about the role of a leader in thinking big, planning big and creating differentiation.

“Why is changing the only constant in the world? Who was the first person who led the change in Human Life?”, Mr. Dharm Rakshit, Head HR, Hero Motocorp Ltd., asked the students, in the latest guest lecture of the Colloquium Series centred on the theme, “Leading change”.
The 70th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Professor Neelu Rohmetra, Hon’ble Director IIM Sirmaur, received the guard of honour and unfurled the National Flag.
As one of the major milestones since its establishment, Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur signed on March 06, 2019 Memorandum of Understanding with Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Government of India for construction of its Phase I of Buildings and Infrastructure of permanent campus at Dhaula Kuan, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh.
