Prof. Rakesh Venkitasubramony is an Assistant Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management at IIM Sirmaur. A graduate in engineering from University of Kerala, he holds a Masters in Management and a PhD, both from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. His doctoral research focused on warehouse design and operations. His current research interests include warehousing and material handling, with specific focus on automated systems.
Prior to his doctoral research, Prof Rakesh worked with ecommerce giant Amazon.com as Program Manager. He has also worked with Toshiba as a Software Engineer.
